THE REAL COST OF AMAECHI’S MINISTERIAL BID®

Former Governor Amaechi came out here, he went out there to the whole wide world on international TV and all about town, not once, not twice but in successive energised motions to condemn former President Jonathan on spurious grounds including but not limited to the fact that he, Amaechi, was marked for assassination.
Even when no formal charge of corruption was brought against Dr. Jonathan he was sentenced by the Amaechis of this world as corrupt, evil and incompetent.
Nothing was left unused as a weapon against Jonathan. Terror, blackmail, insults. Everything was thrown at him to stop him.
At the end of the day, he conceded to them; not in defeat but for peace to reign. Jonathan sacrificed himself for Nigeria to move forward.
Today the same Amaechi who led the charge against Jonathan is being accused of monumental corruption, rather than man up to face the charges or bow out in sacrifice, his ilk are attempting to blackmail the sane minds that will stop at nothing to put the records straight.
We hear he has been moving around begging.
Jonathan also did so, appealing, but they rebuffed him. What is therefore good for the goose is just as perfect for the gander. Amaechi cannot eat his cake and have it and any attempt by PDP Senators to compromise the stake of the Party in Rivers and Nigeria will be met with grave repercussions.
The cost of Amaechi’s ministerial bid is not the billions spent but the depth of betrayal and injury to the identity, place and future of our people in the Nigerian Project. So Amaechi being a minister is better than Jonathan being President?
This is not the time to put to test the resolve of our people on these matters. Let the sleeping dog lie and Karma take its course. Egberi fa.
