Multiple explosions have reportedly rocked Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state, on Sunday, October 4.
AFP reports with reference to the locals that the blasts were heard on the outskirts of the city. Residents alleged the loud sound came from Kayamla and Dalori areas.
More details are yet to be provided on the incident. According to the initial reports, 10 people are feared killed.
The development comes after bombing of Kuje and Nyanya sites in Abuja by suspected Boko Haram insurgents on October 2.
Maiduguri was attacked on the Independence Day, October 1, when the suicide bombers detonated their devices simultaneously near the house of a vigilante leader at a popular public gathering around a tea seller joint.
Abuja death toll has already reached 20, while in Maiduguri at least 14 people were said to have lost their lives.
